This website is operated via Amazon Web Services (AWS). The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. All servers are located in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, Germany) data center.
With every page request, AWS automatically processes technical access data, including:
- IP address (anonymized after transmission)
- Date and time of access
- Requested URL
- Browser and operating system (User-Agent)
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

3. Custom Analytics (Privacy-First)
This website uses a self-built, privacy-first analytics system. No cookies are set and no persistent user profiles are created.
The following data is collected per page view:
- Page visited and referrer
- Device category and browser (derived from User-Agent, not stored)
- A daily-rotating, non-reversible hash (no cross-day tracking)
Bots and automated requests are filtered out and not counted. Data is used solely to measure reach and is not shared with third parties.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact Form
Data submitted via the contact form (name, email address, message) is forwarded via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) and used solely to respond to your inquiry. No data is stored beyond the duration of processing.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Chat Feature
The chat feature on some pages uses Amazon API Gateway (WebSocket) and Amazon DynamoDB. Messages are stored together with the chosen display name to provide chat history. No additional personal data is collected. Messages can be deleted upon request.

6. Local Storage
Your browser stores your display preference (light/dark mode) locally. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
