Portfolio of Enterprise and Modernization Projects

Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects โ€“ from enterprise-scale systems to small experiments.
Here’s a curated selection of work I’m proud of.

๐Ÿ’ต Enterprise CAMT Processing Platform

Description:
Greenfield development of a processing service for legally mandated bank transaction data in CAMT format โ€” a pioneer cloud project in a large enterprise environment. I joined as a DevOps developer and established DevOps as a mindset and framework rather than a job title. This evolved into the Tech Lead role, where I co-shaped the team structure and worked closely with enterprise architects and the infrastructure platform team. The architecture built on familiar event-driven microservices on AWS โ€” proven from prior projects, but at significantly higher expected traffic and within an organization taking its first steps into the cloud.

Role: Lead Developer
Tech: Java 21, Spring Boot 3.4, RabbitMQ, AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL), Terraform, Docker, Datadog, GitLab
Impact:
The system is live and running successfully; nearly all banks have been migrated. As Tech Lead, I shaped DevOps culture and architectural decisions with impact beyond the immediate team.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Logistic and Purchase Monolith to Microservices Migration

Description:
Greenfield redevelopment of a logistics and purchasing platform as part of a cloud-native migration from a VB6 monolith to microservices on AWS. In an international team โ€” in-house developers and external colleagues, everything in English โ€” I built on entirely new technical ground: microservices, event-driven architecture, Terraform, CI/CD. The first major deliverable was an EDI service for the digital transfer of delivery notes between suppliers and the warehouse. Over time, I took on the Tech Lead role, led internal workshops, and drove best practices for unit testing, Terraform modules, and event-driven patterns across teams.

Role: Senior & Lead Developer
Tech: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, AWS (ECS Fargate, SQS, SNS), PostgreSQL, Terraform, Docker, xUnit, FluentAssertions, GitHub
Impact:
The EDI service eliminated manual delivery note processes and accelerated warehouse picking. As Tech Lead, I established standards adopted by all three development teams of the platform.

โœˆ๏ธ Group Booking & Inventory System Modernization

Description:
Co-developed a group booking module within a company-wide flight inventory system covering flight schedules, pricing, seating, and aircraft capacity. Since the public booking flow was limited to 9 passengers, the internal group travel department needed a dedicated tool for individual price negotiations. In a small team alongside a frontend colleague and external developers, I quickly grew into the backend lead role and coordinated the redevelopment of the group tool closely with Revenue Management and the groups team.

Role: Software Developer
Tech: C#, .NET 4.6, WPF, WCF, Amadeus Altea, MSSQL, TFS
Impact:
The department was able to capture, calculate, and confirm group requests entirely within the system for the first time โ€” without manual workarounds or external communication channels. For me personally, it was the first step beyond a pure developer role.
